Eric Stearns is an experienced network engineer and mentor with a diverse background in information technology and small business support. Currently serving as a SCORE.org Mentor since August 2023, Eric is dedicated to helping small businesses achieve their goals. With a robust technical foundation, Eric has held positions as Network Engineer III at Path Forward IT since May 2022, and previously as Network Engineer II at Monument Health from October 2014 to May 2022, where expertise included firewall and VPN maintenance and administration of various network technologies. Eric's earlier experience encompasses a role as Network Engineer at Sheridan Memorial Hospital, where responsibility included maintaining digital communications and implementing a VoIP telephone system, as well as owning Microstar Computer Depot, a computer retail and repair shop. Eric holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix, completed between 2008 and 2011, and studied at Colorado State University from 1997 to 2000.
