Tone Julseth Paulsen is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in patent examination and project management within the mechanical engineering sector. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Patentstyret since September 2018, Paulsen specializes in patent examination in the mechanical section. Previous roles include Head of Patent at Apace IP AS, where responsibilities included implementing database tools and coordinating communications among stakeholders. Additionally, Paulsen held various engineering positions at DNV, Tech4hire AS, Halliburton AS, and others, focusing on materials engineering, design, and project management. Academic qualifications include a Master's Degree in Mechanical Properties of Solids from Newcastle University, an Engineer's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oslo College of Engineering, and further education in mathematics from NTNU.
