Joel J. has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as an AI Application Engineer at PassiveLogic since March 2023. Joel also has experience as the Owner of Olympsis, where they are currently developing the company. Prior to that, Joel worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Stutor from July 2021 to November 2022. Joel has also worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at Brigham Young University, where they developed an application for fine-grained classifications of butterflies using various programming languages. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Technical Specialist at The Convenient Company from March 2019 to January 2021. Joel's work experience also includes a volunteer role as a Missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from September 2016 to August 2018.

Joel J. began their education journey in 2012 at Westhill High School, where they completed their secondary education. Following this, they pursued higher education and from 2018 to 2022, attended Brigham Young University. At the university, they successfully obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
