Raquel Elaine Aviles has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Currently, they hold the position of Deputy Director of Human Resources at the Pascua Yaqui Tribe, starting in November 2021. Aviles's earliest work experience dates back to 1996 at the Pascua Yaqui Tribe, where they held the positions of HIV/AIDS Prevention Program Assistant (September 1996 to January 1997), Tobacco Abuse Prevention Program Coordinator (January 1997 to February 2002), and Circles of Care Project Director (February 2002 to March 2007).

In addition to their roles at the Pascua Yaqui Tribe and the University of Washington, Aviles also worked as a Sr. Curriculum Specialist at The University of Arizona from July 2007 to November 2008.

Raquel Elaine Aviles has a diverse education history that includes pursuing a Master of Healthcare Innovation (MHI) degree in the field of Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Arizona State University. Before that, they completed a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (BIS) degree with a focus on Organizational Studies, also at Arizona State University.
