Jason Smith has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Jason began their career as a Teaching Assistant at Penn State University in 2008. Shortly after, they joined Willis Re as an Actuarial Analyst, where they gained valuable experience. In 2012, they moved to AXIS Re US, where they served as an AVP Actuary, handling various pricing analyses and managing a direct report.

In 2014, Jason joined PartnerRe as an AVP Actuary and was subsequently promoted to VP Actuary and then VP & Managing Actuary, specializing in North America Property and Specialty Lines. During this time, they took on various responsibilities such as leading the pricing unit and being involved in the development of worldwide pricing tools.

Their most recent position at PartnerRe was Head of Worldwide Property Pricing, where they oversaw the pricing process for Latin America and the Caribbean. Additionally, they presented educational courses and created and tested various pricing models. Jason's tenure at PartnerRe lasted from 2014 to the present.

Jason Smith received a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from Penn State University in 2008. In 2013, they obtained the certification of Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) from the Casualty Actuarial Society.
