Mariano Rajoy Brey has an extensive political career, serving as a member of the Partido Popular since 1989, with roles including Secretary General, Vice Secretary General, and Deputy at the Executive Committee. Elected as a representative in the Spanish National Parliament since 1986, Mariano Rajoy has held significant positions such as Prime Minister of Spain from December 2011 to June 2018 and various ministerial roles, including First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior. In addition to domestic roles, Mariano Rajoy serves as Vice President of the International Democrat Union and the Centrist Democrat International since 2005 and 2006, respectively. Educationally, Mariano Rajoy holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela and has been active as a Real Estate Registrar since 1978.
