Marcel Wattel is the owner and managing director of Adviesbureau Wattel Verkeerstechniek B.V. since June 2008, specializing in traffic management and smart mobility. With a robust background in traffic consultancy, Marcel has held positions as a traffic specialist and project coordinator in dynamic traffic management and intelligent traffic signal installations. Additionally, Marcel serves as a senior policy advisor for public lighting and traffic advisor at the municipality of Goeree-Overflakkee and has been involved with various municipalities, including Nissewaard and Rijswijk, in traffic management and policy advisory roles. Prior experience includes positions at Siemens ITS, Grontmij | Carl Bro, and Goudappel/D&P, alongside an educational background in traffic studies from NHTV.
