Tyler Hansen is a seasoned design professional currently serving as Head of Design at Particle since May 2023. Previously, Tyler held roles as Partner and Designer in Residence at Sutter Hill Ventures from September 2020 to June 2023. Tyler's experience includes a significant tenure at Twitter from February 2015 to February 2019 as a Senior Product Designer, where key contributions included designing live video experiences and collaborating on Twitter's 2020 threaded conversations. As the first employee and member of the founding team at Periscope.tv, Tyler played a crucial role in defining and designing the Periscope app. Additional experience includes positions as Lead Interaction Designer at Blackboard, where web and mobile applications for online learning were developed, and a Visual Design Internship at Fluid, along with early work as a Graphic Designer at PJHM Architects. Tyler earned a Bachelor of Arts in Web Design and New Media from the Academy of Art University between 2007 and 2011.
