Wendy Alexander currently serves as the DA Johannesburg Regional Chairperson and a Member of Parliament, where Wendy acts as the DA spokesperson on Finance and is a member of the Finance Committee. Wendy also holds the position of Secretary General at the African Liberal Network, which comprises 47 political parties across 29 African nations. Additionally, Wendy is involved in family law mediation and provides independent consulting services through Isilumko Activate, while serving as a board member for the South African Guide-Dogs Association for the Blind. Past roles include DA Local Government Councillor and Chairperson of the Transport Committee for the City of Johannesburg, as well as the DA Johannesburg Chief Whip. Wendy's educational background includes studies at Wits School of Governance, Mediation Academy South Africa, and the University of Pretoria, where degrees in recreation, psychology, anatomy, sports management, and biokinetics were obtained.
