Clarissa Marquez has extensive experience in the field of ophthalmology, currently serving as Branch Manager and Clinical Research Coordinator at Parkhurst NuVision since August 2016. In previous roles, Marquez held positions as Technician/Scribe Team Lead, managing operations and mentoring a team of technicians at a busy refractive and cataract surgery clinic, and as Ophthalmic Navigator and Surgical Assistant. Prior to this, Marquez worked at Retina Consultants of San Antonio from April 2013 to August 2016 as a Certified Ophthalmic Scribe and Clinic Technician, where responsibilities included patient screening, EMR data entry, and preparing patients for various ocular procedures. Marquez began the career as an Optometric Technician at Family Eye Care from March 2010 to April 2013 and holds an Associate of Science degree from Cameron University.
