Michael Sumruld serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Parker Wellbore since 2017, where responsibilities include leading corporate finance, compliance, operations integrity, sustainability, and information technology for the energy sector. Michael successfully guided Parker Wellbore through bankruptcy, resulting in a relisting on the New York Stock Exchange via a strategic transaction. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Chief Accounting Officer at LyondellBasell for a brief period and spent 18 years at Baker Hughes in various leadership roles, including Vice President & Treasurer and positions managing financial planning and analysis in both the Eastern and Western Hemispheres. Michael's earlier career includes positions at Pool Energy Services Company and Melton & Melton, LLP. Michael holds an MBA from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University and has pursued executive leadership training at Duke University.
