Matt Birch is an experienced law enforcement professional with a career spanning over two decades. Since May 2018, Matt has served as a Patrol Sergeant at the Paris Police Department, previously holding the position of Police Officer. Prior to this role, Matt worked in the City of Reno, Lamar County, Texas, as a Law Enforcement Officer and former Chief of Police from January 2012 to February 2018. Matt also gained significant experience at the City of Paris, TX, as a Police Officer from February 1999 to December 2011, and served in the United States Marine Corps as an Infantryman/Security Forces from January 1995 to January 1999. Matt pursued education at Paris Junior College from 2013 to 2015.
