Braedon Dickerson has over ten years of work experience in software engineering and related roles. Braedon is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Paravision, where they have been working since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at NEC National Security Systems as a Software Engineer from 2020 to 2022. Before joining NEC, they worked at Polaris Alpha as a Software Engineer from 2019 to 2020, and at DCS Corp as a Computer Engineer II from 2016 to 2019.

During their time at Virginia Tech, Braedon served as a Student Manager at West End Market from 2012 to 2016. Braedon also gained industry experience as a Software Engineering Intern at CommScope from 2015 to 2016, where they implemented a Web Sockets program and worked on bug fixes.

Before pursuing a career in software engineering, Braedon worked as an Electrician Apprentice at Southern Air Inc from 2013 to 2014, where they gained experience in implementing electrical work in commercial buildings. Braedon also worked as a Sales Representative at Sheetz from 2011 to 2014.

Braedon Dickerson pursued their education at Virginia Tech, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering from 2012 to 2016. After completing their undergraduate studies, they continued their academic journey at the same institution for a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer Engineering, which they are expected to complete from 2019 to 2023.
