Travis Clovis has a strong and varied work experience. Travis is currently serving as the Head of Product at Parasanti since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Angel Investor at Academy Investor Network starting in October 2020. From March 2019 to February 2021, Travis was a Fellow at the Special Operators Transition Foundation.
Travis also has a background in the military, specifically in the Air Force. Travis served as the Director of the Commander's Action Group at Air Force Special Operations Command from July 2018 to June 2019. Before that, they were the Chief of the Operations Training Division at the same command from July 2017 to July 2018. Travis also held leadership roles in various positions within the Air Force, including Deputy Group Commander, Commander of the 27 Special Operations Support Squadron, and Operations Officer. Travis served in these roles from 2011 to 2015.
Additionally, Travis has experience working in special operations in different parts of the world. Travis was the Commander of the 1st Expeditionary Special Operations Group in Afghanistan from August 2014 to January 2015. Travis also served as the Commander of the 27th Expeditionary Special Operations Group at Special Operations Command South from November 2012 to March 2013.
Travis began their career in the United States Air Force in 1998 and held various roles as a specialized pilot until July 2011. Travis is a graduate of USAF Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training and has experience piloting MH-53M Pave Low IV and CV-22B Osprey aircraft for sensitive combat and humanitarian operations.
Travis Clovis has a diverse education background. Travis started their academic journey at the United States Air Force Academy, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Economics. After completing their undergraduate studies, Travis attended the University of Arizona, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Political Science. Travis further enhanced their knowledge and skills by attending the USAF Air Command and Staff College, where they earned another Master of Arts degree, this time in Military Operational Art and Science/Studies. Travis later pursued their Senior Developmental Education at the USAF Air War College.
In addition to their formal education, Travis has also obtained various certifications to expand their expertise. Travis completed the Predictive Analytics Nanodegree program from Udacity in 2020. The following year, they participated in the Next Step: Transition to Business program offered by The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Travis has also acquired several certifications in project management and technical skills. Notably, they received the Certified Project Director designation from the Institute of Project Management in 2020. Additionally, they hold certifications in Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner from IBM and multiple certifications in data analytics from Alteryx.
Furthermore, Travis has demonstrated their proficiency as a Command Pilot in the United States Air Force, having attained this certification in 2015. Travis also completed the MH-53M Weapons Officer program at the USAF Weapons School in 2006.
Travis's educational background and certifications reflect their dedication to continuously develop their knowledge and expertise in various fields, including political science, military strategy, business, data analytics, and project management.
