Matthew also served as an Innovation Manager at DAS UK Group, where they were responsible for driving and managing an innovation portfolio to transform DAS products and operations.
Matthew's experience as a Management Consultant at Sia Partners involved working with insurance and financial services clients to apply innovation and support digital incubators. Matthew has engaged with the Fintech community and helped bring innovative digital products to market.
Before working at Sia Partners, Matthew held the role of Business Consultant Insurance at Cognizant Technology Solutions. Matthew undertook various roles, including business development, competitive landscape analysis, program management, and business strategy formulation targeting multinational insurance carriers.
Their early work experience includes being a Supermarket Assistant at Waitrose, where they focused on delivering excellent customer service and operational improvement, and an Intern at Brunswick Group, where they honed their communication skills and worked on projects for leading insurance companies.
Matthew Vamplew completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business Management at the University of Southampton from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Peter Symonds College from 2007 to 2009, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Additionally, Matthew has obtained several certifications, including a Certificate of Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute in September 2014, a Body Language Diploma from The International Association of NLP Sales Professionals in February 2014, an Award in London Market Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute in August 2013, and an Introduction to Venture Capital certification from ALISON in February 2016. Matthew also holds a Prince2 Foundation certification from The Knowledge Academy in February 2016 and a Behavioral Economics certification from Ogilvy obtained in July 2018.
