Jonathan Chu is a skilled visual development artist with extensive experience in the animation and gaming industries. Currently, Jonathan holds positions at Paramount Animation as a Visual Development Artist and at Scopely as a Visual Development Lead since March 2020. Jonathan has also contributed to Supercell as a Visual Development Artist and to Zynga as a Senior Concept Artist, where responsibilities included character and environment design. Freelance work has included character design for DreamWorks Animation and various visual development projects. Prior experience includes work at PlayStation and as an Art Director at House of Chai Animation Studio, overseeing the overall aesthetic of film projects. Jonathan graduated from San Jose State University in 2015.
