Darrell Knox is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in mechanical design and consulting. Since September 2018, Darrell has operated as an Independent Consultant while simultaneously serving as an Engineering Support Specialist at Gulfstream Aerospace since August 2024. As a Mechanical Design Engineer II at Parametric Solutions, Inc. since October 2016, Darrell has researched and developed various Gas Turbine products. Previously, Darrell held positions such as Ventilation Engineer at GE Transportation, Engineer at B/E Aerospace, Project Engineer at Superior Industries, and Design Engineer at General Motors, where responsibilities included designing ventilation systems, developing jet products, and engineering aluminum casting components. Darrell’s early career included a tenure as Sr. Design Engineer at Smith & Nephew and academic contributions as a GMU instructor.
