Henry O. has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. In 2015, they were a STEP student at 3M's Corporate Research Systems Laboratory, where they worked on a film testing system and fabricated parts, designed custom PCBs, constructed harnesses, and developed firmware tailored to each user's requirements. In 2017, they were a Camp Supervisor for Intermediate Robotics for High School Students, where they were awarded a MnDRIVE grant to create a summer camp for high-school students interested in robotics. Henry provided mechanical and control system mentorship during the summer program, managed component procurement, selected candidates from the applicant pool, organized lab tours, and performed other administrative tasks as necessary. In 2018, Henry O. worked at 3M as a Technical Aide in the Corporate Research Systems Laboratory, assisting on a multitude of projects including physics simulations, vision processing algorithms, high-voltage power supply design, and ultrasonic sensor testbench design. Henry also worked at EControls as a Software Engineering Intern in the Fuel and Engine Management Systems group, primarily focusing on electronically-controlled throttle calibration algorithms, ECU RAM error detection systems, and PC utilities based on customer requirements. In 2019, Henry O. worked at 3M as a Technical Aide and at EControls as a Software Engineering Intern. In 2020, they were a Firmware Validation Intern at Tesla on the power and charging systems team, supporting multiple ECUs across several vehicle platforms (S, X, 3, Y, semi) writing unit and software in the loop tests, verifying requirements compliance, building new SIL infrastructure, and developing custom tools. In 2021, Henry O. was a Software Engineering Intern at Parallel Systems. Finally, in 2022, they were a Software Engineer and Software Engineer II at Parallel Systems.

Henry O. attended St. Paul Central High School from 2013 to 2017, earning a High School Diploma with High Honors. Henry then attended the University of Minnesota from 2017 to 2022, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering.
