Tom O'Neill has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Tom began their career in 1998 as a Programmer/Analyst/Consultant at Buroak Consulting, where they were responsible for the architecture and planning for integration and custom development on warehouse management systems, mobile data capture applications, customer relationship management systems, electronic data interchange, and enterprise resource planning software. In 2001, they founded Imaginative Solutions. In 2003, they became an Analyst/Interactive Developer at PR Productions, where they led the development of an online dating website with over a million registered users. In 2004, they joined The Nerdery, Sierra Bravo Corporation as a Software Engineer and rose to the position of Director of Software Development. At The Nerdery, they built an industry leading software development team and led the organization through an internal evolution from executing on simple digital projects to providing large scale enterprise level digital strategy, software product development, and digital transformation. In 2018, they co-founded Frebella Inc., a non-profit organization and music festival, and also founded Parallax. In 2021, they joined TXI as a Board Advisor.

Tom O'Neill began their educational journey in 1998, when they attended Colorado Mountain College and earned an Associate of Arts (AA) in Computer Science. Tom then attended Winona State University from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a degree in Computer Science.
