Laura Briggs has over 17 years of experience in finance and operations. Laura began their career in 2004 as a New Accounts Representative at Pioneer Bank. In 2006, they moved to Sterling State Bank as a Commercial Banking/Manager. In 2014, they joined Nerdery, where they held roles as a Director of Client Finance, Client Finance Manager, Senior Project Accountant, and Project Accountant. Most recently, in 2021, they became the Head of Client Finance and Operations at Parallax.

Laura Briggs attended Minnesota State University, Mankato from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a BA in Mass Communications, Speech Communications, and Sociology. Laura then went on to the University of Minnesota Crookston, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance in 2020.
