Karina Salem has extensive experience in operations and finance, currently serving at Parallax Volatility Advisers, LP since September 2015. Prior experience includes a role as Vice President at Goldman Sachs from September 2007 to March 2013, where responsibilities included overseeing a team that supported trades in natural gas, electricity, and oil. Additional roles at Goldman Sachs encompassed drafting confirmations for energy agreements and providing customer service in equity derivatives settlements. Earlier, Karina served as the NYC Tap Project City Coordinator for UNICEF USA, gaining recognition in Forbes Women Magazine for contributions to providing safe drinking water. Additional positions held include Team Lead at Citi and an internship at the U.S. Department of State. Karina holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Berkeley, and is a graduate of Punahou School.
