Payton Alaama is a dedicated professional with a strong background in public policy and environmental engagement. Currently serving as a San Jose Government Fellow and Administrative and Internal Outreach Lead at the Paragon Policy Fellowship, Payton collaborates on the development of an AI policy manual while overseeing meeting logistics and accountability among fellows. Previous experiences include roles as a Course Assistant at UC Irvine, a California Climate Action Corps Fellow at LA Sanitation & Environment, and an intern at Fortuna-Insights, Inc., where extensive research and content creation were key responsibilities. Payton has also been involved in youth leadership through initiatives such as UNITE 2030 and has contributed to various organizations focused on environmental issues and policy-making, earning a Master’s degree in Public Policy and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from UC Irvine.
