Since 1994, Mark Bock has accumulated significant work experience in the hospitality industry. Mark began their career as a Staff Accountant at The Westin St. Francis San Francisco on Union Square, where they eventually became an Assistant Controller. In 1999, they joined Choice Hotels International and Westin Hotels & Resorts as a Controller. From 2001 to 2002, they served as a Task Force Controller for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. Mark then worked as the Director of Finance at W Hotels from 2002 to 2008. Following this, they held the same role at Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa from 2008 to 2012. Mark subsequently became the Controller at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe until 2018. Most recently, Mark Bock has been serving as the Director of Finance at L'Auberge Del Mar since 2018, and they are currently the Director of Finance at Paradise Point since May 2019.

Mark Bock obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from California State University-Dominguez Hills, where they studied from 1989 to 1991. Prior to that, they focused on Economics at UC Santa Barbara from 1979 to 1981, although they did not complete a degree at this institution.
