Justin Dagostino has a long and varied work experience. Justin began their career in 2002 as a Web Developer at Farmingdale State College, where they conceptualized, designed, executed, and deployed web pages using client-side technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. In 2003, they moved on to become a Programmer/Analyst at Invision.com, Inc., where they were responsible for all technical aspects of Microsoft CRM company-wide roll-out. In 2005, they became a Web Developer at Tommy Hilfiger, Inc., where they prototyped a RESTful JSON checkout service with C# as an improvement to existing solution. In 2006, they became a Java Developer at J.Crew, where they maintained a $400M retail website powered by ATG Dynamo commerce platform. In 2007, they became a Software Engineer at Conde Nast, where they developed a Spring MVC-based Wired.com and its back-end services. In 2009, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Time Inc., where they led feature development of Ruby On Rails personalization portion of MyRecipes.com. In 2013, they became the Director Of Engineering at The Cools, where they managed a 6-person, polyglot team of front-end and back-end engineers and led the development and launch of a Spring-based ecommerce platform MVP, applying CQRS pattern. In 2016, they became the Development Lead at Paperless Post. Finally, in 2017, they became the Vice President at Primpins.
Justin Dagostino obtained a BS in Business from LIU Post between 1996 and 2000. Justin then went on to attend Farmingdale State College from 2001 to 2002, where they earned an Advanced Programming Certificate in Computer Science. In 2016, they obtained three Coursera Course Certificates: Machine Learning: Classification, Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach, and Machine Learning: Regression.
