Apolo Souza has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2008 as an Assistente de Projetos at BEMFAM. From there, they worked as an Assistente de Treinamento at Ciee Rio until 2011, when they transitioned to the role of Coordenador de Serviço Social at SEAP - Sec. de Admin. Penitenciária do Estado do Rio de Janeiro. Later in 2011, Apolo became a Desenhista Instrucional at Senac Rio. Apolo then joined Petrobras as a Consultor de Negócios Educacionais in 2012. After that, Apolo worked as an Intercâmbio at Study and Experience from 2014 to 2019. Following this, they became a Designer instrucional at Telefônica Educação Digital Brasil until 2021. Currently, Apolo holds the role of QA Tester and Training Developer at Pantheon Inc.

Apolo Souza completed their education in a chronological manner. In 2004, they enrolled at the Universidade Federal Fluminense and studied Social Work, ultimately earning a degree as an Assistant Social Worker in 2008. Following this, in 2010, they pursued further education at the same institution and obtained an MBA in Personnel Management, which they completed in 2011. In the same year, Souza also pursued a course called "Teoria e Prática do Design Instrucional" as part of their Livre Docência program.
