Lilong Chen is a seasoned mining professional with extensive experience in project engineering and mine planning, currently serving as a Project Engineer at Panoramic Resources since October 2015, focusing on mine scoping and pre-feasibility studies for both underground and open pit operations. Previous roles include Principal Engineer at Lanfranchi Nickel Mines, Project Engineer at Panoramic Resources Limited, Mine Planning Superintendent, and Alternate Mining Manager at Paronamic Resources and Savannah Nickel Mines, respectively. Lilong Chen also served as a Senior Planning Engineer at Barrick Gold Corporation and as a Senior Planning & Geotechnical Engineer at Sons of Gwalia. Educationally, Lilong Chen holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mining and Mineral Engineering from UNSW, completed between 1989 and 1994.
