Glen Brown has a extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Glen is currently serving as a Board of Director for PHX Minerals Inc. Prior to this, they worked as an Oil and Gas Shale Explorationist/Consultant for NE,LLC from 2017. In the same year, they also served as an Adjunct Professor of Geology at New Mexico State University Geology Department, where they taught courses related to resource shale exploration and development.
From 2012 to 2017, Glen Brown worked for Continental Resources, where they held the positions of Senior Vice President Exploration and VP Geology. In these roles, they were responsible for exploration and production growth, identification and capture of new plays, and managing exploration and production geology for the company.
Before joining Continental Resources, Glen Brown was the President and Owner of NELLC from 2003 to 2011. During this time, they made numerous discoveries resulting in multi-well development programs and drilled over 200 wells in different areas.
Glen Brown started their career at EOG Resources in 1991 as an Exploration Manager Midcontinent Division. Glen was involved in various projects, including the start-up Hugoton program and the discovery of the RazorHawk Chester Field.
Prior to EOG Resources, Glen Brown worked as a District Geologist for Texas oil and Gas and as a Geologist at Marshall R Young, where they gained experience in well site work and prospecting.
Throughout their career, Glen Brown has played key roles in exploration, production growth, and the discovery of new resource plays in the oil and gas industry.
Glen Brown earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Geology/Earth Science, General from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, where they studied from 1976 to 1980. Glen then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Geology at New Mexico State University from 1980 to 1982.
