Javier Meneses has worked in a variety of roles since 1998. Javier began their career as a Photography Editor for REX Features International, a press and photo archive agency. In 2002, they became the Head ICT Department at King Richard International College, teaching ICT to secondary students up to A Level following Cambridge International Examination Board. In 2007, they took on the role of Senior Tour Leader at Kananga, in charge of organizing, logistic and direction of tours through out several African countries. In 2017, they became a Trip Leader and OPS Expert at Backroads. Most recently, since 2018, they have worked as a Regional Business Director, Nature & Adventure Product Manager, and International Product Consultant at PANGEA The Travel Store.
Javier Meneses began their educational journey in 1985, when they attended Instituto Luis Buñuel for their high school studies. In 1987 and 1988, they attended Universidad Popular de Alcorcón, where they obtained a Monitor de Actividades Socioculturales y al Aire Libre in Outdoor Education. From 1994 to 1995, they attended City and Islington College, where they obtained a City and Guilds in Photography. Javier then attended Shepperton Arts Centre from 1995 to 1996, where they obtained a Foundation degree in Photography and Multimedia. From 1996 to 1999, they attended University of the Arts London, where they obtained a London College of Communication Bachelor's Degree in Media & Photojournalism. Finally, in 2004, they attended Cambridge International Examinations and obtained a Cambridge Professional Development Qualifications in Information and Communication Technology.
