Brian Backer currently serves as the Vice President of Enterprise Architecture at Panera Bread, a position held since October 2013, where responsibilities include enhancing the loyalty and payment experience through collaborations with Treasury, Marketing, and Operations. Previously, Brian held various roles at MasterCard Worldwide from 1995 to October 2013, including Business Leader and Director, and worked as a Senior Software Engineer at E.P.S.S. from 1999 to 2008. Earlier experience includes a software engineering position at EDS from 1990 to 1995. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
