Joshua Duran is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director of Outreach at the Freedom Writers Foundation since June 2024. In addition, Joshua has been the Director of Community Outreach at Pandemic Professors since June 2020, where responsibilities include co-moderating quarterly panels, fostering partnerships, and managing a team of outreach specialists. Previous roles include Assistant Site Coordinator at Think Together, Behavioral Intervention Specialist at Behavioral Intervention Specialists of Los Angeles, and Pro Bono Legal Assistant at Swords to Plowshares, among others. Joshua holds a Master of Nonprofit Leadership & Management from the University of Southern California and has studied at universities including UC Berkeley and Mt. San Antonio College. Military experience as a Cryptologic Linguist with the United States Air Force adds to a diverse background in education, community service, and legal assistance.
