Katherine Free is an experienced research communications professional with a strong background in health-related organizations. Currently serving as the Research Communications Manager at Pancreatic Cancer UK since May 2022, Katherine previously held the position of Research Engagement Manager at Versus Arthritis from September 2018 to May 2022. Katherine has also contributed to Arthritis Research UK in various capacities, including Research Engagement Manager, Research Liaison & Communications Manager, and Research Liaison & Stakeholder Review Officer from April 2012 to May 2022. Earlier experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at the University of Leicester from July 2010 to April 2012. Katherine holds a PhD in Genetics from the University of Leicester and a BSc in Medical Biochemistry from The University of Sheffield.
