Jonas Göbel has had a long and varied career in finance and controlling. Starting in 2002, they were an ARGE-Buchhalter and BA-Student at MSB-Management GmbH. In 2006, they moved to Pago eTransaction Services GmbH as a Clearing & Settlement specialist. In 2008, they joined Deutsche Card Services GmbH - Deutsche Bank Group as a Controlling and Clearing & Settlement specialist. In 2013, they became the Head of Controlling & Treasury and Controlling at EVO Payments International GmbH. In 2015, they joined PAYONE as a Director Sales Controlling, Director Controlling, and Controller. Finally, in 2021, they became the Director Finance & Controlling at Palturai.

Jonas Göbel obtained a Betriebswirt (BA) from Leibniz Akademie Hannover between 2002 and 2005, studying Betriebswirtschaftslehre. Jonas then completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the same institution between 2005 and 2006, focusing on Business Administration and Controlling. Finally, they completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management between 2011 and 2013, specializing in International Strategy and Sales Management and International Entrepreneurship.
