Lori McCormick is a founding partner at College Advising Team LLC, dedicated to supporting high school and college students through college applications and career counseling since October 2018. With extensive experience in academic advising, Lori has also contributed as a "Thinking About College" blogger for the Palo Alto Weekly and served as an independent college admissions advisor since January 2009. Previous roles include board member and fundraising committee chair at Palo Alto Community Child Care, high school academy teacher at Peninsula Bridge, and consultant for the Sequoia Union High School District's transition team. Lori's background also includes positions at BUILD and Admissions Academy, along with experience as a resume specialist at San Jose State University. Lori holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara and two Master of Arts degrees in Psychology and Career Counseling from Antioch University.
