Ram Poornachandran is an accomplished technology executive currently serving as Vice President of Enterprise Architecture, QA, Release Management, and Engineering Excellence at Palo Alto Networks since January 2025. Prior to this role, Ram Poornachandran held various senior positions at Adobe from December 2019 to January 2025, including Senior Director and Head of Enterprise Architecture within the Office of the CIO, and was instrumental in leading engineering and architecture for Adobe Business Platforms. Ram Poornachandran also served as Director of Database as a Service at Oracle from May 2017 to December 2019, managing a critical PaaS offering in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Earlier experience includes significant roles at New York Life Insurance Company, Independent Consulting, and various engineering positions at companies such as InQuest Technologies and SofTech, Inc. Ram Poornachandran holds a Master of Science in Information Technology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Client Server Computing from Boston University, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University.
