Dan Tan is an experienced professional in the field of strategic partnerships and business development, currently serving as the MSSP Business & Strategic Alliance Lead at Palo Alto Networks since January 2020. Tan has a proven track record of enhancing threat detection and prevention capabilities through robust security solutions and go-to-market initiatives across the JAPAC region. Prior roles include leadership positions at Check Point Software Technologies, where responsibilities encompassed driving partnerships in the APAC, Middle East, and Africa, as well as mobility solutions. Additional experience at IBM, MobileIron, and several government and educational institutions provided a strong foundation in IT security and infrastructure management. Tan holds degrees from RMIT University, Nanyang Polytechnic, and Singapore Polytechnic in relevant fields of information technology and security.
