Tom Brinck is an accomplished professional in user experience design and education, currently serving as Adjunct Faculty in the College of Information Studies at the University of Maryland at College Park since January 2023. Brinck has a robust history of leadership in notable organizations, including serving as UX Design Lead for Webex Calling at Cisco from December 2014 to September 2022 and as Sr. Director of UX Innovations at Samsung Electronics from October 2010 to June 2014. As a dedicated board member of the Palo Alto Art Center Foundation, Brinck has played key roles in fundraising and advocacy since November 2018, including a term as President from June 2020 to June 2021. Brinck's educational background includes advanced degrees from the University of Michigan, Stanford University, and Caltech, underscoring a strong foundation in cognitive psychology, computer science, and math and engineering.
