Richard Dreby has extensive experience in emergency services and public safety, currently serving as the 2nd Assistant Secretary for the New Jersey State Firemens Association since October 2018. Since January 2016, Richard has held the position of Fire Chief for the Palmyra Fire Department and also serves as Fire Chief for the Palmyra Volunteer Fire Company, a role initiated in May 1971. Richard retired as Chief of Security for the Palmyra Area School District in November 2014, and previously served as Chief of Police for the Boro of Palmyra from March 1976 until September 2008. Richard is a graduate of FBINA Class 172 and completed education at Palmyra High School from 1968 to 1971.
