Andre Kruger has extensive experience in the geographic information systems (GIS) field, currently serving as the GIS Team Leader at Palmerston North City Council since August 2006 and as the LGGA Whanganui/Manawatu Representative since February 2014. Previous positions include GIS Coordinator at New Plymouth District Council and Systems Architect/Developer at SBS Group. Andre's earlier career includes roles as a Systems Engineer at Columbus Stainless and Senior Technician at ISCOR in South Africa. Andre holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science from North-West University and a National Diploma in Computer Systems from Vaal Triangle Technikon.
