Drew Saur serves as the Chief Information Officer for both Palmer Food Services and G&C Food Distributors Inc since April 2016, where responsibilities include strategic and tactical technology management. Additionally, Drew has been an Adjunct Faculty member in Software Engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology since August 2019 and founded The Progressive CIO, a blog advocating for improved technology leadership through a people-first approach, in July 2020. Previous roles include Chief Technology Officer at DxID, LLC, where Drew implemented the healthcare industry’s first SOC 2 compliant platform, and at Cognisight, LLC. Drew has a diverse history working with organizations such as Xerox Corporation, managing software development and global research activities, and founded The Mac Orchard, a significant repository for Macintosh Internet software. Drew holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Literature & Rhetoric from Binghamton University, earned between 1986 and 1990.
