Ty Malowany is an experienced aquatic biologist currently working at Palmer since December 2021. Previously, Ty served as a staff environmental scientist at SLR Consulting from October 2018 to August 2021, focusing on land quality and remediation. Ty's career began as a laboratory technician at Maxxam Analytics in 2018, analyzing environmental samples, and included a role as a field operator with Geo Tactical Remediation Ltd. in 2017, where technical field and office duties were performed. Earlier experience includes multiple positions as a framer with McNabb Contractors and Castle Co. Construction from 2013 to 2015. Ty holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Mount Royal University and a Technical College Diploma in Environmental Science from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
