Mr. Chacin is originally from Caracas, Venezuela, and is an analyst at Palm Beach Capital. His primary responsibilities include assisting Vice Presidents, Partners, and other Staff in screening potential investment opportunities, completing industry research, performing diligence workstreams, and miscellaneous tasks related to the management of portfolio companies, fundraising, and potential acquisitions.

Before joining Palm Beach Capital, Bernardo worked as a construction assistant estimator for Keller North America. In this role, Bernardo was responsible for creating cost estimates, leading internal review meetings to assess risks in upcoming bids, and delivering bid proposals to clients. In addition, Bernardo completed two full-time co-ops in the construction industry while earning his undergraduate degree.

Bernardo obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University and his Master of Science in Finance from the University of Miami.
