Karin Van Straten is an accomplished educator and graphic designer with extensive experience in art instruction and design. Currently serving as a Docent Beeldende Vorming at Pallas Athene College since November 2022, Karin has previously taught at Aeres VMBO and Aeres MBO from April 2014 to November 2022, as well as at Olympus College and Edison College. Karin's design background includes roles as a graphic designer at Spikes and Sparrow, Drukkerij Dogan, Studio Kaat, and De Merkenbouwers, showcasing a strong foundation in visual communication. Karin holds a Bachelor's degree in Docent Beeldende Kunst en Vormgeving Eerste Graad from ArtEZ University of the Arts, along with a Bachelor's degree in Art Teacher Education from the same institution, graduating in 2004.
