James Prebble

CEO & Co-Founder | Palladium Digital Group at Palladium Digital

James Prebble has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. James is currently the CEO & Co-Founder of Palladium Digital Group, a digital consultancy for Private Equity. In this role, they support Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies in advancing their digital capabilities. Since 2016, James has also been a Course Director for the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA), where they author and facilitates the introduction to digital due diligence course for over 150 Private Equity professionals.

Previously, James worked as a Digital Transformation Advisor for Egremont International | Stone & River from September 2016 to July 2017. James also held a similar role at KPMG Boxwood from February 2015 to January 2017. Prior to that, they served as the Interim Digital Director & Board Advisor for Zero Degrees West from November 2014 to January 2017, where they supported the development of their digital capability, designed and deployed a new digital team, and identified commercial opportunities.

Additionally, James has experience as Director & Founder of Burwood Digital from September 2014 to August 2016, providing digital consultancy to businesses across multiple sectors. James specializes in Insurance, Leisure & Hospitality, Media, and Retail, and their work includes digital insight development, digital strategy development, enterprise-level social media consultancy, multi-channel strategy, and campaign planning.

Starting their career in 2006, James worked as the Digital Strategy Director at Pancentric Digital until September 2014. Prior to that, they were an Online Marketing Manager for Cancer Research UK from April 2005 to April 2006, where they delivered digital engagement strategies for the youth-focused satellite brand TODAY. James began their career as a Senior Online Marketing Executive at OSRAM from May 2004 to April 2005, where they conceptualized and developed digital marketing initiatives to support the trade marketing team. James also worked as a Marketing Executive for the Outdoor Industry Association in 2003.

James Prebble completed their education at London Metropolitan University from 1998 to 2002, earning a 2:1 degree in Marketing, Business Studies, and Economics. Prior to that, they attended Queensmead from 1996 to 1998, where they obtained A-Levels in Business Studies, I.T, and Accountancy. Additionally, James has obtained several certifications, including being a judge at the South East Europe Customer Experience Awards in 2019, 2020, and 2021, a judge at the International Digital Experience Awards in 2021, and completing Introduction to PE Level 1(Digital) in 2019 and Introduction to PE Level 2(Digital) in 2020 from the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA).
