Michelle Hablitzel is an experienced outdoor and education professional with a diverse background. Currently serving as a Whitewater Raft Guide at Whitewater Voyages since May 2024, Michelle has quickly advanced to leading trip operations for groups. As an Adult Ski Instructor at Palisades Tahoe since November 2022, Michelle has achieved Level 2 Ski Certification and received multiple performance awards. Prior experience includes leading disaster case management at North Coast Opportunities, where promotion to supervisor followed exceptional service during crises. Additional roles have encompassed volunteer coordination and management at the Plowshares Peace and Justice Center, front-of-house staff at Northstar Cafe, and leadership development at NextGen America. Michelle holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography and Globalization Studies with minors in German and Psychology from The Ohio State University, alongside studies at Mendocino College.
