Giovanni Gardini currently serves as the CEO and General Director of Palermo F.C., a position held since July 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Chief Football Operations Officer at FC Internazionale Milano from March 2016 to June 2019, and General Director at both Hellas Verona FC (July 2012 - March 2016) and Livorno Calcio (July 2010 - June 2012). Giovanni also held the position of General Director and CEO at Treviso Calcio from July 2006 to September 2008, and served as Organizational Director at S.S. Lazio from July 2003 to June 2006. Additionally, Giovanni worked as General Director and CEO at Treviso Calcio earlier in their career (July 1999 - June 2003) and spent nearly a decade as General Director at Calcio Padova (October 1989 - June 1999). Giovanni Gardini graduated with a degree in Jurisprudence from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna in 1988.
