Tariq Mahmood, CFA, currently serves as the Managing Director & CEO of Pak Libya Holding Company (Pvt.) Ltd. since July 2023. Previously, Tariq held the position of Group Head of the Investment Banking Group at Pak China Investment Company limited from April 2010 to July 2023, where a separate Investment Banking Group was established under a strategic business plan approved by the Board of Directors. Before that, Tariq was the Head of Corporate Finance, responsible for the overall performance of the Corporate Finance Department across the country, handling project finance, syndication, advisory, and equity transactions. Tariq gained valuable experience at the National Bank of Pakistan as Vice President/Unit Head from December 2003 to April 2010, overseeing a team and managing a substantial corporate loan portfolio. Earlier in the career, Tariq worked at Compass Bank (USA) as Assistant Vice President/Relationship Manager and Credit Analyst from July 1999 to March 2003. Tariq holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from New Mexico State University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
