Brett Klynn has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Starting in 2023, they worked as the Director of Business Development at Paired Power. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2023, they held the position of Director of Business Development Fleet Division & Strategic Business Development at Wrench, Inc., where they had responsibilities such as strategic business development and overseeing fleet division operations. During their time at YourMechanic from 2017 to 2019, Brett served as the Senior Director of Business Development, Commercial Fleet, where they were responsible for business development and establishing B2B client relationships. Before that, Brett worked as an Account Executive at Essence Intelligence and as a Co-Founder at Workin AI. Their earlier experience includes roles as an Account Executive at 42Floors, Western Regional Sales Manager at Premier Truck Rental, and Regional Sales Manager and Branch Manager at Enterprise Truck Rental. Brett also has a background as a professional musician, specifically as a bassist, and has several tours and albums to their credit. Additionally, they worked at Speed Merchant as a Service Manager, Sales, Engine & Chassis Design Engineer, where they handled project management and managed a team of automotive technicians.

Brett Klynn has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Notre Dame de Namur University, which they obtained from 2001 to 2003. Brett also has an Associate of Arts degree in Communications from Foothill College, earned from 1996 to 2000. Brett completed their high school education with a diploma from Los Altos High School in the Learning Community Magnet Program. Brett also has a high school diploma from Mountain View High School in General Studies. In 2017, Brett participated in the Startup School Founder Track program at Y Combinator and obtained a certification in Business Administration and Management. Brett also completed the Startup School Online certification program at Y Combinator in June 2017.
