Ray Boyer has a solid background in finance and administration, with over 30 years of experience in various leadership roles. Ray began their career in 1989 as an Assistant Controller and Systems Administrator at United Way of America. From there, they joined United Way of Forsyth County in 1992 as the Director of Finance and Administration. In 1995, Boyer moved to The Wilderness Society, where they served as both the Controller and later the Senior Director of Financial Operations. Most recently, they held the role of Vice President of Finance at Population Action International, starting in 2014. Throughout their career, Boyer has demonstrated their expertise in financial management and has been responsible for various financial operations and systems administration.

Ray Boyer has a Bachelor's degree in Business: Accounting and legal studies from George Mason University, completed in 1990. Ray also holds a Masters degree in Public Administration with a specialization in Nonprofit Management from the same university, completed in 2004.
