Courtney Fain is a legal professional with extensive experience in employment law. Currently serving as a Partner and Of Counsel at PADUANO & WEINTRAUB LLP since May 2018, Courtney represents employers in cases involving federal, state, and local employment laws while also providing compliance counsel. Prior to this role, Courtney was a Senior Counsel in the Labor & Employment Division of the New York City Law Department from September 2015 to May 2018, defending mayoral agencies against various claims in state and federal courts. Earlier experience includes working as an Associate in Employment Litigation at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP from September 2008 to September 2015, focusing on both litigation and counseling clients regarding compliance and employment policies. Courtney holds a Juris Doctor degree from Boston College Law School and a Bachelor's degree in Government from Harvard University.
