Tyler Shaw serves as the Vice President of Engineering at PADT, Inc. and is also the Founder and Principal of Bias Ply, LLC, providing comprehensive consulting for product development, simulation, and advanced materials applications. With a robust background at PING, Tyler led advanced manufacturing initiatives and served in various engineering roles, including pivotal contributions to additive manufacturing and 3D printed products. Prior experience includes significant positions at Vestas and Orbital Sciences Corporation, where Tyler specialized in systems engineering and materials process assurance for aerospace applications. An educator with experience at Oregon State University, Tyler holds a PhD in Materials Science and a BS in Physics from the University of Puget Sound.
